Those who love baked brie love this recipe. Our niece asks if this will be served when she comes to our house for a special occasion.
1 brie wheel
Remove rind from top of brie and place on oven-proof dish. Spread with apricot jam, covering the entire top of the brie. Sprinkle the almond slices on top.
Bake uncovered at 325F for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve with nice crackers.
Place the cheese in a clear glass pie plate. When the cheese melts, it fills the plate and looks very pretty with the golden apricot marmalade glistening on top. Experiment with other jams and nuts. Either way, enjoy!
